Marcello Napolitano

Marcello Napolitano received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma (1989) and M.S., in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Naples, Naples, Italy (1985).

He is a Professor at the Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Eng. (MAE), WVU (2001 – Present). Previously he hold the positions of Associate Professor, (1996 – 2001)  and Assistant Professor, (1990 – 1996) in the same department

He was PI or Co-PI for approx. 60 projects sponsored by NASA, DOD, and other agencies.

He is the author of the book "Aircraft Dynamics: From Modeling to Simulation".
