Lauren Cash

Lauren Cash is pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her research is focusing on the localization of teams of people and drones to aid in search and rescue.

Lauren obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron in May 2022. While there, she was involved in the Honors College and the Women in Engineering organization. She has also had the opportunity to gain experience through a cooperative education program, spending time in aerospace at Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems and manufacturing at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Lauren's interests include robotics and mechatronics, and she enjoys spending time outdoors.
